Repeat Prescriptions

The most efficient way to order your repeat prescriptions is via the NHS app or by using online services.

The tick-box repeat prescription sheet from the right hand side of your prescription may be left at the surgery at any time using either our indoor or outdoor prescription box.

We also offer the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS). This allows your prescription to be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice.

To be absolutely sure that you receive the correct medication, we do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.

Please allow us 48 hours to process your request. If you order your prescription on Monday morning it will be ready for collection after 11:00 on Wednesday.

Repeat prescriptions cannot be collected before 10:00

IMPORTANT:  Please make sure that you only order the repeat medication that you require.  The NHS loses millions of pounds every year because of unused expired medication.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
